Pet Vet AI LLC. ("we," "us," or "our") operates PetVetAI ("the App"), an AI-assisted pet health and wellness platform. We are committed to transparency, protecting your privacy, and handling your personal information responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and your rights regarding your data. By using PetVetAI, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

We use the information we collect to: provide, operate, and improve the App and its features; generate AI-assisted wellness observations, scan analysis, and health insights; respond to your requests and support inquiries; send service-related notifications; detect fraud, abuse, and security threats; comply with legal obligations; and improve our AI models, product features, and user experience.

When you upload photos, videos, or scan data through the App, that media may be: transmitted securely to our servers for processing; analyzed by AI systems to generate wellness observations; stored and associated with your account to maintain scan history; used in aggregate and anonymized form to improve AI model accuracy, product quality, and fraud prevention; and retained as described in our Data Retention section below.

We do not sell your uploaded media to third parties. We do not use your pet's images for advertising purposes without your explicit consent.

We may use analytics services such as Google Analytics, Firebase, or similar platforms to collect aggregated, anonymized data about how users interact with the App. This helps us understand usage patterns, diagnose issues, improve performance, and enhance the user experience. Analytics data is collected in a manner consistent with applicable privacy laws.

Our web-based services may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and improve functionality. You may be able to disable cookies through your browser or device settings, though some features may not function fully without them.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the App, including: cloud infrastructure and hosting providers (such as Amazon Web Services); analytics platforms; payment processors; customer support tools; and AI processing services. These providers are contractually required to protect your information and may only use it to provide services to us.

We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Pet Vet AI LLC., our users, or the public.

If you connect Amazon Ring or other smart device platforms to your PetVetAI account, we may receive data from those integrations, such as video clips or device events, solely to provide you with the features you have enabled. Data from smart device integrations is handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy and the respective platform's own privacy terms.

We retain your personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to: provide and operate the App and its services; comply with applicable legal, regulatory, tax, and accounting obligations; resolve disputes and enforce our agreements; prevent fraud and ensure security; maintain business continuity, backups, and disaster recovery; and support ongoing AI model quality and safety.

Retention periods vary depending on data type and operational necessity. Account data is generally retained for the duration of your active account and for a reasonable period thereafter. You may request deletion of your data as described below.

You have the right to request deletion of your account and associated personal data.

Upon receiving a verified deletion request, Pet Madness Inc. will take commercially reasonable steps to delete or permanently anonymize your personal information from our active systems within a reasonable timeframe, unless retention is required by law, regulation, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security obligations, or legitimate business necessity.

Please note that some information may persist temporarily in encrypted backups, security logs, or archived systems before being fully purged consistent with our data lifecycle policies.

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate or incomplete information; request deletion of your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing activities; and receive a copy of your data in a portable format.

PetVetAI is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@petvetai.ai and we will take steps to delete that information promptly. Users under the applicable legal age of majority in their jurisdiction should use the App only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

We implement reasonable and appropriate administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security assessments.

However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

PetVetAI is operated from the United States. If you access the App from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries outside your country of residence, which may have different data protection rules.

The App may contain links to or integrate with third-party websites, services, or platforms. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through or in connection with the App. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or App features. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
