Ring Integration & Privacy Information
PetVetAI connects to Ring cameras using Ring/Amazon's official account-linking flow. With the user's permission, PetVetAI may process approved event metadata, clips, or snapshots needed to generate pet wellness insights, dashboard updates, and optional email reports.
PetVetAI is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Ring.
How It Works
- 1.The user connects their Ring account using Ring's official OAuth authentication.
- 2.Approved Ring devices are detected and synced.
- 3.PetVetAI analyzes approved camera event data.
- 4.Wellness insights and monitoring reports are generated for the pet owner dashboard.
PetVetAI does not control Ring devices and only reads approved event data necessary for pet monitoring.
Data Access
PetVetAI may access:
- •Approved Ring event metadata
- •Approved event clips or snapshots
- •Limited device identifiers and device metadata needed to maintain the connection
PetVetAI does not access:
- •Ring passwords
- •Payment information
- •Contacts or address books
- •Unrelated personal account settings
Data Usage
Video clips or event snapshots may be temporarily processed by PetVetAI AI systems to detect potential pet health signals such as:
- •abnormal movement
- •mobility issues
- •distress indicators
- •unusual inactivity
PetVetAI does not sell or share video footage with advertisers or third parties.
⚠️ Important Notice
PetVetAI reports are informational only and do not provide veterinary diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. If your pet appears to be in distress or you believe there is an emergency, contact a licensed veterinarian immediately.
Disconnecting & Account Deletion
You may disconnect Ring access at any time in your account settings. Disconnecting immediately stops PetVetAI from accessing Ring camera events.
You may request deletion of your PetVetAI account and associated customer data from our direct deletion page.
Privacy & Security
PetVetAI uses encrypted connections and secure cloud infrastructure to protect user data and video analysis.
